RAAC Surveys
Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) is a lightweight material that was used mostly in flat roofing, but also in floors and walls, between the 1950s and 1990s. The material has a limited lifespan of around 30 years and its structural behaviour differs significantly from traditional reinforced concrete.
We carry out property inspections for our clients' on their portfolios to ascertain the existence of RAAC in their buildings. We provide a short and succinct report clearly evidencing where samples were taken and referencing against general arrangement drawings.
